We are a bit inexperienced at canoeing -- went here to buy foam blocks to use when putting canoe on car roof without roof racks. While we were there, he gave us a lesson in paddling and steering, helped us pick out the right kind of foam for our canoe & answered a ton of questions for us. We spent less than $20 but came home with priceless advice and help. The salesperson also seemed very knowledgeable speaking with someone who was clearly an experienced climber & camper, helping him choose equipment & suggesting great places to camp, hike, & climb.
